What is the difference between gel coating and nail extensions?
Gel coating strengthens your natural nails without lengthening them — it protects against breakage with a thin layer of flexible gel. Extensions add length via capsules, Gel-X or tip sculpting. If your nails are fragile but long enough, choose coating. For longer nails, go for extensions.
How long do nail extensions last?
Extensions typically last 3–4 weeks. An infill is recommended after 3 weeks to fill in regrowth. A full removal and fresh set is advised every 2–3 months to maintain the health of your natural nails.
Which technique should I choose: capsules, Gel-X or tips?
Capsules are the fastest (60 min) and most practical. Gel-X offers more flexibility and a very natural result, also in 60 min. Tip sculpting allows the most customisation for shape and length, but takes longer (90 min). Our technicians can advise you based on your nails and lifestyle.
Can nail art be applied on extensions?
Absolutely! All our nail art options (french, chrome, baby-boomer, cat eyes, gradient, custom designs) can be done on extensions. Mention your wishes when booking so we can allocate the right time.
How do I look after my extensions at home?
Avoid acetone-based products, wear gloves for washing up and cleaning, and keep your cuticles moisturised. Avoid using your nails as tools. If a nail breaks, come in for a quick €10 repair.
