How do I choose between classic, gel and OPI gel polish manicures in Paris?

A classic manicure with polish (€40, 40 min at You Rêve Paris) lasts 3 to 5 days and suits one-off occasions. OPI gel polish (semi-permanent) (€45, 45 min) is LED-cured and lasts 3 to 4 weeks without chipping — one of our most-booked treatments. BIAB builder gel (€60 with built-in colour, €70 with gel polish) reinforces fragile nails with a thin, self-leveling layer, perfect for thin nails. For length, sculpted-form gel extensions (€85, 90 min, express manicure and OPI gel polish included) sculpt custom shapes. All techniques are available 7 days a week, 10am–8pm at 7 rue d'Argenteuil, Paris 1st.

How do I know if my nails can handle gel polish?

A nail that splits, shows marked vertical ridges, peels easily, or develops white patches (leuconychia) after several consecutive applications is signalling stress. At You Rêve Paris, our technicians suggest in these cases either a thin-layer BIAB overlay (reinforces without weight, file-based removal, no peeling) or a cycle off with keratin strengthening treatment between sessions. Applied and removed correctly by a professional, gel polish does not damage nails long-term.

How do I book an appointment?

What are your prices?

A high-end salon with posted prices: classic manicure with polish €40, manicure with OPI gel polish €45, Luxury SPA manicure with OPI gel polish €65, foot beauty from €40, classic lash extensions €80, Brazilian bikini waxing €35. Polish application alone €15, gel polish removal €10. Off-peak prices on some services on weekdays (Monday to Friday, start times 10:00-12:00 and 14:00-17:30), depending on the slot: they are shown when you book.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Online, by card: Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay when you book at ureve.paris/reservation/ (secure Stripe payment). At the salon: card or cash.

How long does OPI gel polish last?

On hands and feet alike, OPI gel polish lasts 3 to 4 weeks without chipping; on toes it is the regrowth at the base that eventually shows, rather than wear. Removal must be done at the salon (€10).

Do I need an appointment or can I walk in?

We recommend booking online at ureve.paris/reservation/ to guarantee a slot, especially on weekends. Walk-ins are welcome, subject to same-day availability — calling ahead is the safest.

Does gel polish or gel overlay damage natural nails?

When applied and removed correctly by a professional, gel polish and gel overlay do not weaken natural nails long-term. Our technicians use file-based removal (no peeling) and apply a strengthening treatment between sessions.

Do you offer Russian manicures?

No. You Rêve Paris does not practise the Russian manicure, the dry technique that works the cuticles with an electric file. Our technicians prepare the nail with hand tools, then apply OPI gel polish as part of a classic or Luxury SPA manicure, lasting 3 to 4 weeks. Which metro stations are closest to the salon?

The institute is at 7 rue d'Argenteuil, Paris 1st, less than 5 minutes' walk from Tuileries (line 1), Pyramides (lines 7 and 14) and Palais-Royal Musée du Louvre (lines 1 and 7) metro stations. Châtelet-Les Halles RER is one stop away on line 14 from Pyramides.

You Rêve Paris is open 7 days a week, Monday to Sunday, from 10 am to 8 pm, including Sundays and public holidays (closed on 1 May only).
