Nail art is a decoration added to a manicure, an overlay or extensions: it is not a stand-alone treatment. Simple effects (French, chrome, gradient, cat eye) add from €10 (10 min extra) and baby boomer €20; drawn designs are then priced by level, from level 2 (€20) to level 6 (€50, 60 min extra), depending on the number of motifs and how fine the drawing is. Every option is applied over OPI gel polish or gel, lasting 3 to 4 weeks. The salon is at 7 rue d'Argenteuil, Paris 1st, a 3-minute walk from the Louvre, open every day, 10am to 8pm, except 1 May. Tell us your idea when you book, or bring an inspiration photo, and your nail artist will advise you in the chair. Payment is by card or cash at the salon, or by card online when you book. The team speaks English, French and Chinese, and online booking shows live availability.
What is nail art, and what is it applied over?
Nail art transforms a simple manicure into a true creation: a reimagined French, mirror chrome finish, soft gradient ombré or delicate baby boomer, right through to fully custom designs. At You Rêve Paris, our nail artists prepare the nail with an e-file drill (removal, smoothing) for a clean, long-lasting result.

The controlled gradient, in every palette
The baby boomer is a controlled gradient (ombré) technique: two shades blended progressively into each other for a velvety, luminous effect. It is often associated with a nude-to-white "baby skin" fade, but our nail artists achieve it in all palettes — pastel, bold, metallic. A chic and natural result, applied over gel polish, a BIAB overlay or extensions (not over classic polish).
Baby boomer
A controlled gradient blending two shades smoothly, achievable in all palettes (from nude to white as well as pastel or bold tones). A delicate technique delivering a chic, luminous "baby skin" effect.

Drawings, patterns and personalised artistic creations
Custom design (levels 2 to 6)
Each level includes the previous one and adds a step. Level 2: a first motif drawn freehand on 1 or 2 nails (+€20). Level 3: the design extends to all nails (+€25). Level 4: a more detailed, personalised drawing on 1 or 2 nails (+€35). Level 5: an elaborate personalised design across all 10 nails (+€40). Level 6: our most complex creations, varied drawings on all 10 nails with a 3D flower or sculpted relief (+€50). What is a baby boomer nail art?
Baby boomer is a controlled gradient (ombré) technique that progressively blends two shades on the nail. Contrary to popular belief, it is not limited to nude fading to white: our nail artists achieve it in all palettes (pastel, bold, metallic). The result is a soft, luminous, very natural effect, prized for its understated elegance.
How much does nail art cost?
Nail art is added to your manicure or extensions. Prices start at €10 for french, chrome, gradient or cat eyes, and €20 for baby boomer. Hand-drawn designs are priced by level: from +€20 (level 2, a motif on 1 or 2 nails) to +€50 (level 6, a complete artistic creation with a 3D flower on all 10 nails).
What is the difference between chrome and baby boomer?
Chrome is a mirror metallic finish obtained with a powder applied over gel polish: brilliant shine and an "ice" effect. Baby boomer is a blended gradient between two shades, with no metallic effect, for a matte or satin, very natural finish. Both can actually be combined in the same appointment.
Does nail art last as long as gel polish?
Yes. Nail art is applied over a gel polish or builder gel base, cured under an LED lamp and sealed with a top coat. The wear is identical to that of a gel polish application — 3 to 4 weeks depending on nail growth and your daily activities.
Can I bring inspiration photos?
Absolutely. Bring your inspiration (a photo, a Pinterest or Instagram screenshot) and our nail artist will adapt it to the shape and length of your nails. For very detailed creations, please let us know at booking so we can reserve the necessary time.
