What is a baby boomer nail art?
Baby boomer is a controlled gradient (ombré) technique that progressively blends two shades on the nail. Contrary to popular belief, it is not limited to nude fading to white: our nail artists achieve it in all palettes (pastel, bold, metallic). The result is a soft, luminous, very natural effect, prized for its understated elegance.
How much does nail art cost?
Nail art is added to your manicure or extensions. Prices start at €10 for french, chrome, gradient or cat eyes, and €20 for baby boomer. Fully custom designs (drawings, patterns, portraits) are quoted based on complexity — contact us by email to discuss your idea.
What is the difference between chrome and baby boomer?
Chrome is a mirror metallic finish obtained with a powder applied over gel polish: brilliant shine and an "ice" effect. Baby boomer is a blended gradient between two shades, with no metallic effect, for a matte or satin, very natural finish. Both can actually be combined in the same appointment.
Does nail art last as long as gel polish?
Yes. Nail art is applied over a gel polish or builder gel base, cured under an LED lamp and sealed with a top coat. The wear is identical to that of a gel polish application — 2 to 4 weeks depending on nail growth and your daily activities.
Can I bring inspiration photos?
Absolutely. Bring your inspiration (a photo, a Pinterest or Instagram screenshot) and our nail artist will adapt it to the shape and length of your nails. For very detailed creations, please let us know at booking so we can reserve the necessary time.
