The Brazilian bikini wax (high cut) at You Rêve Paris is €35 / 25 min. It leaves a thin centre strip, unlike a full wax. Hold: 4 to 5 weeks. Your choice: hot wax (fast, effective on any hair) or oriental sugar paste (gentler, for sensitive skin). Package Brazilian + half legs + underarms €55.
Bikini waxing isn't a glamorous topic, but it's a practical one. At You Rêve Paris, in the 1st arrondissement, our role is to offer a clean, professional, awkwardness-free setting — where every client knows exactly what she's paying for and gets a result that matches. Here is the full Brazilian bikini guide.

Brazilian, classic, full: the differences in 30 seconds
| Type | Area removed | Duration | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Classic bikini | Underwear sides only | 20 min | €25 |
| Brazilian bikini | High cut, thin centre strip kept | 25 min | €35 |
| Full bikini | Everything removed (front + back) | 35 min | €40 |
Why the Brazilian is the most balanced choice
The Brazilian is, in our internal stats, the most requested across the year. It strikes the ideal compromise:
- Full discretion in swimwear, even high-cut.
- Daily comfort — no more irritation in tight trousers.
- Less "radical" than the full for those who like to keep a thin strip.
- Saving: €35 instead of €40 for the full.
- Gentler, more even regrowth.

Hot wax or oriental sugar paste?
You can choose between two techniques. Neither is "better" in absolute terms — each has its indication.
Hot wax
The most-used salon method. Wax warmed to body temperature, applied with a spatula, removed by hand. Pros:
- Very effective on any hair type — even coarse.
- Quick session (Brazilian done in 25 min).
- Excellent grip on the curved bikini area.
Oriental sugar paste
The traditional Middle Eastern method, made of sugar, lemon and water. Pros:
- Gentler for sensitive skin.
- Lukewarm paste (never burning).
- Water-soluble — easier post-care.
- Ideal if you tend to redden after hot wax.
💡 Tip: Hesitating? Mention "sensitive skin" when booking — we set oriental sugar paste by default in that case.
How long does a Brazilian last?
In normal conditions, 4 to 5 weeks. Regrowth is non-linear: the first hairs reappear at 2 weeks, but stay fine and pale. Discomfort only kicks in from week 4. Monthly is the ideal cadence for many clients — always on the same date, like a medical appointment.
Key tip: the more regular you are, the finer the regrowth. After a few months, some clients see hairs growing slower and thinner. Cumulative effect of close-spaced sessions.

Preparing the session, and after
Before
- Hair at least 3-5 mm (otherwise the wax won't grip).
- No home hair-removal between appointments (razor, depilatory cream) — it disrupts the cycle.
- No sun exposure 24h beforehand.
After
- No very hot shower or hammam for 24h.
- No fragranced products (cologne, alcohol-based deodorant) on the area.
- Daily moisturising from D+2.
- Gentle weekly exfoliation to prevent ingrown hairs.
