Quick Answer

Preview — six nail shades coming for July 2026: coral sunset (Got Myself into a Jam-balaya), milky white (Bubble Bath), lagoon blue (Funny Bunny base + Yoga-Ta tip), powder pink (Mod About You), gold (Glitzerland), lime green (Don't Mess With OPI). Why these shades are emerging, and how they should spread across the month. Standard €45.

At You Rêve Paris, a manicure salon in the 1st arrondissement, we prepare July before it arrives. Four markers already dictate what clients will ask for: the full summer light that changes how colours read, the holiday departures from week one (zone A on the 6th, zones B and C on the 10th), the tourist peak in Paris, and July's big fixtures — the Tour de France, Wimbledon, Bastille Day. Here's the forecast: six shades, and for each one why we expect it.

1. Coral Sunset — the forecast star

A warm orange coral, luminous without being neon. Why we expect it: coral is the shade that "works" with an emerging tan, and July is the month skin turns golden. It's historically our most requested shade of the summer — we expect it to open the season with the first departures.

Expected window: all month, peaking with the first holiday week.

2. Milky White — the summer minimalist

A lightly creamy lacted white, never the aggressive neon white. Why we expect it: July is a month of civil weddings in the 1st arrondissement, and milky white is the safe choice for summer brides; it also goes with the season's lighter dress codes.

Expected window: all month, with stronger demand around wedding weekends.

3. Powder Pink — the all-rounder

A soft pinkish beige, our "chameleon" shade that adapts to every skin tone. Why we expect it: it's the reflex of clients who want a neat but discreet manicure before they leave — the one that clashes with nothing in the suitcase.

Expected window: all month for minimalists; peak expected around holiday departures.

4. Lagoon Blue — the holiday shade

A vibrant Mediterranean turquoise, more striking than June's navy. Why we expect it: the moment clients think sea and pool, lagoon blue comes back — especially on pedicures. July's high light makes it even brighter.

Expected window: from 6 July to the end of the month, echoing departures to the coast.

5. Lime Green — the rising pastel

A tangy apple green, lime-style. Why we expect it: tangy green is a shade we see settling in on the spring-summer runways; in July the strong light suits it, and the nod to the English lawns of Wimbledon (finals on the 11th and 12th) gives it a seasonal anchor.

Expected window: around mid-July, as an accent or in a bicolour French.

6. Gold — the end-of-palette accent

A fine gold glitter, reserved for the accent nail. Why we expect it: July is a month of evenings and events, and gold is the simplest accent to dress up coral, milky white or powder pink without changing the base.

Expected window: all month, especially on evening manicures. See also our gold and bronze nails guide.

Our week-by-week forecast, before July begins:

Compared to June (cherry red, navy blue, a more sophisticated palette), July looks distinctly more solar: the shades are lighter, warmer, made for strong light and a tan. They aren't opposing colours — they complement each other from one month to the next.
