Preparing a spring wedding takes time — and above all timing. Beauty isn't a single act, it's a sequence of appointments that must trigger at the right distance from the day. Here's the framework we offer brides preparing with us.
D-90: the colour trial
Three months before the wedding, we start by testing the shade. This is the moment the bride sits at the salon, looks at four or five OPI bottles in the light, and photographs the result on her nails.
Why 90 days? Because:
- The colour must dialogue with the dress, sometimes still being tailored.
- The bouquet may not yet be decided — its tones influence the nails.
- There must be time to change your mind without pressure.
Most requested bridal shades in 2026:
- Pink nude — universal, photogenic.
- Pearl white — modern, luminous.
- Classic French or baby-boomer — timeless elegance.
- Pastel lilac — for brides who dare.
D-30: lash test and confirmation
One month before, we tighten. Two decisions:
- Final colour — we reapply the chosen shade, check it still works in different lights.
- Lash test — for brides hesitating between lift, classic extensions, mixed or Russian volume.

D-7: the waxing week
Waxing should happen 7 days before — no more, no less. At 7 days:
- Any redness has cleared.
- Skin has rebalanced.
- No risk of regrowth on the day.
The most requested bridal package:
D-3: the final manicure
Three days out, we apply the final OPI semi-permanent manicure. The safest option:
- Guaranteed wear of 2-3 weeks — covering the day plus honeymoon.
- No chipping on the morning of the wedding.
- Applied by Dodo & Xin, who now know your colour (seen at D-90 and D-30).

D-1: lash lift and touch-ups
The day before, we settle the details:
- Lash lift (€65, 60 min) for brides who don't want extensions. The lift gives a sublime natural curl, with no maintenance.
- Manicure touch-up if needed — a single non-held nail is €10 at the salon.
- Lash + brow tinting if not yet done: €20 each.
D-1 timing is delicate: not too close to the wedding hour. Ideally the morning before, between 9 a.m. and noon. You leave with 24 hours of buffer.
