You Rêve, open on public holidays and bridge days
In France, tradition has local shops pull down the shutters on public holidays. You Rêve made the opposite choice: the salon stays open 7 days a week, 10am to 8pm, Sundays and public holidays included. No surprise closure, no locked door on the very day you finally have free to look after yourself. The one exception, known in advance, is 1 May: the salon is closed that day.
In practice, you'll find the salon open on every public holiday in the calendar except 1 May:
- Easter Monday — the first long weekend of spring.
- 8 May (Victory in Europe Day) — often bridged with the weekend.
- Ascension Day — May's classic bridge, four days in a row.
- Whit Monday — the last long weekend before summer.
- Bastille Day (14 July) — Paris in festive, touristy mode.
- 15 August (Assumption) — international tourist peak, a quiet district for locals.
- 1 November (All Saints') and 11 November (Armistice) — autumn's gentle holidays.
The only closing day of the year is 1 May (May Day): the salon is closed that day. On top of these come all the bridge days — the Fridays or Mondays taken off around a midweek holiday, when the district empties of its offices. They are among the most pleasant slots of the year for a beauty appointment. The year-end festive season (24, 25, 31 December, 1 January) is no exception: the salon is open 10am to 8pm, with online booking 24/7.
💡 Worth remembering: "open 7 days a week, Sundays and holidays included, 10am-8pm" isn't a seasonal tagline — it's how we run all year. A holiday with us is a normal opening day, neither shorter nor pricier. The one exception: 1 May, when the salon is closed.

The metro, meanwhile, runs as usual. It's easy to pair a treatment with a stroll: a coffee at the Palais-Royal, a manicure with us, then the Tuileries and place Vendôme a step away.
Time for longer treatments

- Christmas school holidays, Saturday 19 December 2026 to Monday 4 January 2027 — open 7 days a week, 10am to 8pm, including 24, 25 and 31 December and 1 January.
