Chrome is not new — it has been around for nearly a decade. What changed is the quality of the powders and the stability of the finish under top coat. Today you get a real mirror effect, no loss of shine after two weeks. That is why it has become the favourite evening pick of our signature clients.
How it works
Chrome is not a polish. It is a very fine metallic powder patted on with a silicone applicator over the last semi-permanent coat while still slightly tacky (before final top coat). The pressure fixes the powder into a continuous mirror layer. We then seal with top coat for longevity.
The 4 shades of the moment
- Mirror silver: the boldest, "pure metal nail". Spectacular on photo, timeless.
- Rose gold: softer, more feminine. Sits beautifully on warm and tanned skins.
- Gold: the festive version, perfect for Chinese New Year, holiday season, gilded evenings.
- Steel blue: more fashion, more contemporary. Stunning on black or midnight blue base.
Which base?
The base colour under chrome changes the result dramatically:

The +€10 covers application from a single accent nail to all ten — it's a flat-rate option. To combine two chrome shades (e.g. silver on four fingers, rose gold accent), same price.
Who it's for
- For evenings: chrome catches light like no other finish.
- For photos: if you'll be photographed (wedding, professional event), the effect shows exceptionally well.
- For variety lovers: chrome alternates beautifully with more classic manicures week to week.
Who it's less suited for
- For neutral everyday: if you want a colour for a strict office setting, stay with nude or matte burgundy.
- On very short nails: mirror works best on at least a few millimetres of surface. On very close-cut nails, visual impact is reduced.

Wear and removal
On semi-permanent and under top coat, chrome stays vibrant for 2 to 3 weeks. No progressive dulling like with glitters on classic polish. At removal, we lift the whole stack (chrome + semi-permanent) following the standard protocol: e-file + acetone foil wrap, removal at €10.
